Plinky.com: “Rainy Days”

Today’s Plinky.com prompt was, “Are you a fan of rainy days?” Here’s my response and the Flickr.com pic I selected to illustrate it. ;o)

Lightning Show

I love a good storm as long as I don’t have to get out in it. Something about pouring rain, low rolling thunder and distant lightning make a rainy afternoon at home last for a delicious forever. Add to that cool air, clean sheets and a good book, and I am cozily planted all day.

Plinky.com: “The Daunting Dagwood”

Today’s Plinky.com prompt was, “Create a sandwich of epic proportions.” Here’s my response and the Flickr.com pic I selected to illustrate it. ;o)

It would have to use sourdough or ciabatta bread, homemade garlic mayonnaise, prosciutto, smoked turkey, coarse-ground mustard, Swiss cheese, a really thin layer of something sweet (to balance out all the tangy), crisp lettuce, thinly sliced onion (the milder red or yellow preferred), and a smattering of other crunchy/chewy bits (sliced black olives, banana peppers, bean sprouts, even thinly sliced carrots or bell peppers).

Then stand back, because I’ll be chowing down on that Dagwood!

Plinky.com: “Moving Cities”

Today’s Plinky.com prompt was, “Which two cities do you wish you could move right next to each other?” Here’s my response and the family pic I selected to illustrate it. ;o)

Caitlyn and Ginny

This is a really silly question from Plinky today, but I’ll bite: If I could move any two cities next to each other, I’d put Atlanta closer to Memphis. Would make it easier to run over and see my oldest girl!
