Today’s Plinky.com prompt was, “Recall the last time you were on a Ferris Wheel.†Here’s my response and the Flickr.com pic I selected to illustrate it. ;o)
My grown daughter was in high school and my 14-year-old was in elementary school the last time I took a spin on a Ferris wheel. I loved that feeling of swooping up over the treetops and looking over the fairgrounds. And then Caitlyn wanted to scoot over to the seat opposite me, beside her big sister, where I couldn’t hold onto her when the seat rocked. I let her move over when we stopped briefly for another seat to load, but my heart was in my throat the whole time. (They never stop seeming so fragile to us, do they.)
