Twitter Digest: My Tweets for 2008-04-28
- @penwriter Thanks for the ref to Blogger, but I’m sold on self-hosted WordPress. I never could get support responses from Blogger. :o( #
- Just had to block my first Twit. Got an ewww msg from him. YUCK. #
- @lalunablanca lol - I know just the "afraid to look down" moment you mean. #
- OMG - dIdn’t read my Bloglines feeds for a few days and returned to 2,117 posts. Super Skimming Powers, ACTIVATE! #
- @Sarcomical I did that too — pounded the hell out of my piano. Lessons for 9 years but can I play now? :o( #
- Logging off for the night. See ya in the morning, Tweets! #
- @jwsandersjr Hey, just saw your nice reply about the tweetups. Thanks! I’ll definitely show up at one. Maybe after soccer season. :o) #
- During sleepless hours this weekend, I figured out a blog posting schedule. Trying to muster up the energy to stick to it. Starting tonight. #
- I’m amazed to find that other blog hosts will charge me one rate for all my blogs + more bandwidth. I currently pay that rate for EACH. Duh. #
- Do any of you use DreamHost, MediaTemple, Blue Host, AN Hosting, or HostICan as your web host? Please direct message me! I’m comparing. :o) #
- @doshdosh Re site design: I don’t know what prior version was like, but this one is clean and straightforward and orderly. It appeals to me. #
- @rachky I like country music, bluegrass, & folk too, plus more mainstream music & indie stuff my 17yo passes on. My tastes are eclectic. :o) #
- @rachky Heh-heh. My husband acts like he’s dying every time I turn a country station on. But he endures it & the kids suffer along. :oP #
- @QueenofSpain re: man on the roof: That sounds like an excellent writing prompt. #
- @DadGoneMad lol — I had the same thought when I was working for a trade magazine and did a "feature story" comparing icemaker capabilities. #
- Awkward: You reply to someone you follow, he/she DMs you, but you can’t DM back because he/she doesn’t follow you. Weird system limitation. #
- @lalunablanca I only used GoToMeeting briefly but liked it better than Macromedia Breeze, which my office uses a lot. Breeze=not intuitive. #
- Bye, tweets. I was able to follow along while doing some light editing, but now have to interview someone. Later! - Carolyn #
