Pics from Birthday Weekend at Park
It’s one of those funny things that — because I’m usually taking the photos — I’m seldom in them. That’s fine with me. I had a fine birthday weekend at Percy Quin State Park in McComb, Mississippi, with my family and my husband’s extended family. Here are a few photos of the festivities and the scenery.
My oldest, about as sedate as she gets, on the park swings before the misting rain chased us away:
Caitlyn concentrated but still wiped out on the game room’s WaveRunner. (We retreated to the game room during the brief rainshower.)

The bubble swords and wands we brought from Wal-Mart were a big hit.

While the idea of this much pollen all around me makes my allergic self shudder, the puddle after a rainshower was kind of pretty.

I’d say that I saved the prettiest photo for last, but that wouldn’t be true after photos of my children’s faces! Let’s call this wisteria closeup the prettiest FLOWER photo, then.
(P.S. I took plenty of photos of my niece and nephew too, but I don’t post pics of other people’s children without parents’ permission, and I haven’t remembered to ask yet. It’s the Internet’s loss for now, because they’re adorable.)
